How it works
Every trade fills the vault
- 01Every trade pays 3%
On BitPad, every buy and sell of $vBTC pays a 3% fee. 2% of it is set aside for the vault, every 5 minutes.
- 02BitPad buys $vBTC back
With that share, BitPad buys $vBTC on the market, a little at a time, and deposits it into the vault. Nothing is minted.
- 03Stakers' shares grow
Each deposit reaches the share price over a day, second by second. The more $vBTC trades, the faster the vault fills.

Unstake anytime
Take out part of your stake or all of it, whenever you like. Within 7 days of staking, 2% of what you take out stays in the vault for the other stakers; after that, leaving is free.
There is nothing to claim or restake: rewards stay in the vault, so they earn rewards too, every second. Unstake and you get your share of the vault back, rewards included. Adding to a stake moves its start a little later, by the new stake's share of it.

Nothing is minted
Rewards are $vBTC bought on the market with real trading fees, so they grow with volume, not with inflation. No new tokens are ever made for stakers.
The vault program has no withdraw instruction: tokens leave only when their own stakers unstake. Not the team, not BitPad.
